Delivery Options

We offer a great FREE DELIVERY* service to almost all parts of New Zealand on all orders over $100.

Orders will normally be delivered via a courier company and are made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Smaller items will be posted through your letterbox, but for larger items a card will be left should you not be there to accept the parcel. We are happy to deliver to work addresses excluding PO Box numbers. 

Addressee signature will be required on delivery or, if not in, a neighbors signature where available and a card left with the addressee.

Standard Delivery

-          We will deliver all stocked items within 1-3 working days.*

-          Exclusions apply. For more information see below.

-          Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 9am and 5:30pm.

-          Our courier company will deliver the goods to your door steps.

-          Free on all orders over $100.

-          Orders under $100 are charged at $5.99 for the North Island and $7.49 for the South Island

Large items Delivery*

Large items are identified by a packaging fee, those are items that are oversized for delivery (baby cots, some car seats, and children beds). The items are shipped by a courier company that handle the excessive weights and sizes of the products and the parcels are always insured. Please note that this cost will be applied to each large item you order. The fee is waived on “Click and Collect.

*Occupational Health and Safety legislation restricts the maximum weight of an individual item of freight to 25kg. (However, heavier items may be carried where there is assistance to load and unload the item. Individual items in excess of 40kg cannot be carried.)

Rural Deliveries

With access to New Zealand Post’s network, we can deliver to over 200,000 rural delivery addresses for an additional $6.99. Please note that delivering to rural addresses can add between 1-3 days to the standard targeted delivery times and charges do vary.

Please note that some rural networks are unable to handle large items. 

Split Deliveries

Please note in some cases your order may be sent in more than 1 parcel. If you do not receive everything you were expecting in your delivery, please wait a further 2 working days before contacting us as the goods will be in transit.

Overseas shipments

All of our deliveries are subject to stock availability and credit card authorisation, and that you are available to accept the delivery

Nursery Furniture Deliveries

Certain furniture ranges will have a packaging and handling fee, the charge is due to the excessive weight or size of the product and may require to be delivered by two people. Selected items such as large, bulky or items may take a little longer to deliver and in some cases the courier company may refuse to deliver them to a rural address.

Receipt of your order. 

We send all orders using a secure courier company that requires a signature to acknowledge that the goods have been received in good condition. If you wish for your parcel to be left at your letterbox or front door, this can be done but neither Unicare Nz Ltd nor the courier company will take any responsibility for damaged/lost parcels. If there is nobody at your home to receive the parcel, the courier company will leave a calling card. It is your responsibility to call and arrange for an alternative delivery time.

Damaged goods?

It is your responsibility to open the package and inspect it before signing the courier slip. If goods have arrived in good condition, you should sign the receipt but if the items are damaged, do not sign or accept the order.

It is very unusual for items to get damaged in transit, but it may happen. All goods leave our warehouse in good condition, so if there is any damage, this occurred during transit. For this reason, you need to check the parcel before signing the courier slip and do not accept parcels that are damaged. It is very useful if you send us photos of the damaged items. We will endeavor to replace damaged goods, providing you notify us immediately and supply us with a photograph.

If you receive and sign your order and later discovered items are damaged, you and Unicare NZ Ltd are unable to claim the damaged items.
